Ye KeQin, later given name MengZhi, male, born April 1960 in Beijing, is a professional Calligrapher, president of Beijing Yantian Academy, and founder of Ye KeQin Calligraphy Studio and Art Gallery of Yantian Academy.

Influenced by his family since childhood, he has a passion for calligraphy. He learned the calligraphy rules from tablets of the famous calligraphers of the past dynasties, studied with great concentration, and has continually been learning throughout his lifelong passion. His specialty is regular script, running hand, and large-character calligraphy.

In 2010, he became the first disciple of Tian YingZhang, a famous Chinese calligrapher. He studied calligraphy intensively and thought about tutoring. Someone once said to him “Knowledge and Calligraphy needs from the studied strictly and from the root. Forge each character with elegance and enjoyment”.

Calligraphy works are rooted in tradition, can be dignified and beautiful or handsome and powerful. Unique styles become their own style.

He is in his sixtieth year and can thus understand calligraphy maturely.

In 2019 a branch of the YanTian Academy was opened in Germany, Bücken.

Since 2000, he has been constantly exploring the integration of traditional art into modern aesthetics. He created a large number of artistic contemporary works, and founded "Beijing Yantian Cultural Communication Co., Ltd." in Beijing. In his "Yantian Academy" he taught classes in person; and also ran a gallery to display and sell artworks.

"Yantian Academy" is its own brand. Its artworks and stationery products under the "Yantian Academy" brand are widely recognized and supported by colleagues and collectors in the industry
